01 / BUSINESS CONTEXT

Give diners a taste of the restaurant before they arrive.

Online problem being addressed. Diners need a menu and practical visiting information alongside the story that makes the restaurant worth considering.

02 / DESIGN STRATEGY

Specific choices.
A clearer next step.

I paired bold slab headlines with charcoal surfaces, burgundy accents and barbecue photography. The opening image and introduction establish the restaurant’s character.

Messaging and content approach. I separated menu browsing, visit planning and the family story. Customers can also find ordering information from the main navigation.

  • 01Food-led hero and menu imagery
  • 02Dedicated visit-planning route
  • 03Family story and barbecue process
  • 04Order-ahead navigation

03 / DESKTOP

Room to establish the story.

The desktop hero pairs a large food photograph with the Red Oak, Real Texas introduction. Visitors can explore the food and the story in turn.

04 / MOBILE

The same confidence in one hand.

Mobile visitors see a barbecue sandwich photograph above the introduction, followed by menu and visit buttons. An order-ahead shortcut sits in the compact header.

IMPORTANT INTERACTIONS

Useful actions stay close to the customer’s intent.

Diners can browse food, plan a visit and find the order-ahead route without reading the full restaurant story first.

  1. 01Browse the menu
  2. 02Plan a visit
  3. 03Read the restaurant story
  4. 04Find order-ahead information

DESIGN GOALS

The goals behind the design.

  • Present the food and restaurant character together
  • Give diners clear routes to menu and visit information

These are design goals, not measured results. DV Web Co makes no claims about traffic, leads or sales from this project.
